Catch up with author, evangelist, pastor and professor Myron S. Augsburger. Augsburger’s ministry has extended from the local church to international preaching missions, including ecumenical efforts across the United States and Canada. He served as president of Eastern Mennonite University from 1965-1980, as president of the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities, 1988-1995, and as moderator of the Mennonite Church USA, 1987-1989. He has five earned degrees, including a Th.D. from Union Theological Seminary, and is the author of more than twenty books.

Seminal theologian and Christian activist Dr. Ronald J. Sider spoke on the topic of his new book, "The Early Church on Killing: War, Abortion, and Capital Punishment."

Sider is Professor of Theology, Holistic Ministry & Public Policy at Palmer Theological Seminary in in Wynnewood, Pa., and directs the seminary’s Sider Center on Ministry & Public Policy. He is the founder of Evangelicals for Social Action and the author of Rich Christians in an Age of Hunger, hailed by Christianity Today as one of the one hundred most influential books in religion in the twentieth century.

The banquet included an auction of an original watercolor by Lynn Sommer, painted wood carving by Benjamin and Nora Hoover and Golden Apples in Silver Bowls, the out-of-print English translation of a classic Anabaptist devotional. Marcy Hostetler, choral director at Lancaster Mennonite School, led singing.
